The Horsetooth Falls trail in Fort Collins is a 2.3-mile out-and-back hike that takes about 1 to 1.5 hours, featuring a beautiful waterfall. You can access it via the Horsetooth Mountain Open Space, where a vehicle entrance fee is required, and dogs are permitted on a leash. While the falls are best after spring and early summer rains, the trail can get crowded.
