Best Pumpkin Patches in NoCo – 2020

October 7, 2020 by Lauren Haug Leave a Comment

It’s that time of year—when you get your family dressed up all cute and go snap family pictures at the pumpkin patch. Oh, and get some pumpkins too! Thankfully, there are many great pumpkin patches in Loveland and surrounding NoCo areas and despite our early snow this year, pumpkin crops are plentiful. Here’s what I think are NoCo’s best pumpkin patches!

Osborn Farm

Osborn Farm is a beautiful farm on the south side of Loveland that is a favorite pumpkin destination for many Lovelanders. The expansive farm leaves plenty of space for you to mosey along and find the perfect pumpkin to carve. Or if you have littles that aren’t up for a ton of walking, they have a wide variety of pumpkins in the barnyard too. Plus, this family-owned farm has colorful gourds, cornstalks, and mums for sale. And, they have a coffee cart on the weekends!

The Bartels Pumpkin Patch

This pumpkin patch is actually in Fort Collins, but many people think it’s worth the drive. During non-COVID times, they have lots of fun activities for the whole family. This year, they’re mostly sticking to pumpkins although they might have a few surprises here and there. Check their Facebook page to get updates and current happenings. Bartels is great for the whole family (nothing scary for littles) and has several awesome places to take family photos.

Something From the Farm

If you’d rather have a more relaxed pumpkin patch experience, we recommend Something From the Farm. This farm is between Loveland and Fort Collins off Timberline. And while they have a great selection of pumpkins and gourds, they aren’t as well-known so it’s a little quieter. They are still offering a hayride, hay bale maze, and pumpkin trebuchet for those who want to partake in other fall activities.

Heading to the pumpkin patch is something our family loves to do each year and we are sure glad to be able to do it this year! Where is your favorite place to get pumpkins in Loveland or surrounding areas?
