Thanks to COVID-19, back-to-school is going to look a little different this year. Here’s a rundown of what Loveland has planned for the upcoming school year.
Our main school district in Loveland is Thompson School District (TSD). Earlier this month, the TSD board and superintendent announced that students would not be returning to in-person education until at least the middle of October. The plan for the first quarter is for students to return to remote learning.
You can learn more about the district’s decision here.
Traditional public schools in Loveland plan to begin at-home learning on September 1. Most schools have sent out information about material-pick up that will be happening prior to the academic year. Teachers and principals have been hard at work to make sure that every student gets what they need to be successful this year.
If you have further questions about what is going on with your child’s school, visit TSD’s Frequently Asked Questions page. It would also be a really good idea to reach out to your child’s principal or teacher, as they will have the most up-to-date information for your child’s school!
