Around this time each year, I’m usually compiling a list of all the egg hunts and Easter activities. Of course, last Easter, we were in the midst of some serious quarantining. This year is somewhere in between. There aren’t many massive egg hunts and huge crowds. But, there are some fun ways you can still celebrate with the family and get the kids amped. So here’s my list of the best Easter activities in Loveland and Northern Colorado for 2021.
Paint Bunnies and Chicks with Board and Brush, 4/2
Every First Friday of the month, Board and Brush Fort Collins has walk-in projects you can do pretty inexpensively and quickly too. This month, the designs involve chicks, eggs, and bunnies. You can reserve yours online, drop by, or get a take-and-make kit to do in the comfort of your own home.
Let the Pups Hunt for Eggs at the Dog Pawlour, 4/2
Kids don’t get to have all the fun! For all you dog parents out there, take your pooch to hunt for eggs at the Dog Pawlor in Fort Collins. You will need to make a reservation for your dog because space is limited.
Egg Dying and Egg Hunt at FoCo Cafe, 4/2
FoCo Cafe is a non-profit, volunteer-run cafe, and they are hosting an Easter fundraiser. Participants will get to dye eggs and do an egg hunt in the community garden. Plus, there will be snacks and special prizes.
Easter Egg Hunt and Open Play at Premier Gymnastics, 4/3
Premier Gymnastics is the perfect place to let the kids do an egg hunt with a limited number of participants and release their sugar high on a world of foam mats and trampolines afterward. Plus, for kids 5-12, you can drop them off and take the time to grab a few last-minute items for their Easter baskets.
Easter Brunch at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch, 4/4
This one is for the parents and the kids. Don’t want to go through the trouble of making a big meal? Come enjoy the wonderful breakfast buffet at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch, including homemade desserts, fresh bread, and traditional brunch fare. And there is a Golden Egg Hunt for kids, and the Easter Bunny will be there for meet and greets.
