Loveland is a town of many amazing festivals and one of our favorites every year is Loveland Loves BBQ, Bands, and Brews. There are tons of local and visiting BBQ vendors, live music, and plenty of beer to go around. This year, we all had to miss out due to COVID. But that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the best Loveland BBQ to hold us over until next year.
Nordy’s BBQ & Grill
Nordy’s claims to have the best BBQ in Colorado and we aren’t going to deny it! This family-owned and operated restaurant often has a line out the door just to get seated—and rightfully so. Along with all the traditional BBQ fair like brisket, ribs, pulled pork, sausage, and chicken, they have a wide variety of amazing sauces that the servers artfully display for you if you eat in the restaurant. Eating Family Feast style is a favorite because then you don’t have to make as many difficult choices. You can just have a little bit of everything!
Serious Texas BBQ
Seriously Texas BBQ is the perfect place to get more casual BBQ in Loveland, and ideal if you’re feeding a lot of people. You can buy their meats by the pound and a few pint containers of sides and consider it done. Or you can get one of their local favorites, the pulled-pork sandwich or the Texas Taco. Not sure what a Texas taco is? Well, you better go in and try one for yourself, but for now I’ll leave it at this—chopped bar-b-q, cheezy potatoes, onions & jalapenos on a soft flour tortilla. Yum!
Hogfish Seafood & Smokehouse
This potentially unlikely pairing is actually one of Loveland’s favorite places to get BBQ, and some fish tacos while you’re at it. Hogfish is the perfect place to go or order from if you’re with a group that wants more options than just BBQ. But if you do want something smoked, you’ve got to try their Hogfish Mac & Cheese or their smoked wings. They also have a smoked feast that comes with all your BBQ favorites.
