Get Your Mexican Food Fix in Loveland, CO
Just writing this post has got me salivating because my family and I love Mexican food so much! And thankfully, there are a lot of great places to get Mexican food in Loveland, CO. In this post, we highlight a few of our favorite spots to get that Mexican food fix. If you have another go-to, make sure you let me know in the comments!
Vatos Tacos & Tequila
Am I obsessed with Vatos Tacos? The answer is yes, absolutely. Fort Collinites probably have had a slightly longer love affair with Vatos but to us Lovelanders, this taco stop in new. Vatos just opened it’s doors at The Foundry earlier this year—hey, not everything about 2020 is bad! They specialize in mouth-watering street tacos made with local, fresh ingredients. Plus, their burritos are delicious, and so are their margs! Bonus: You can enjoy their tacos and tequila while the kiddos play on the Foundry’s splash pad!
El Cielo Mexican Restaurant
El Cielo Mexican Restaurant might look like a hole in the wall, but if you’ve ever been, you know their food is authentic and delicious. They have traditional dishes like posole and all of your favorites like tamales, chile rellenos, fajitas, and street tacos. They’re locally owned and customers display their satisfaction by ringing the bell on the way out the door!
Tortilleria La Autentica
La Tortilleria La Autentica, or the Tortilla Factory as some call it, is the famous home of $3 burritos and Loveland’s best tortillas. While many people drop by the Tortilla Factory to grab a bag of tortillas to use at home, they also serve up fast, to-go, and cheap burritos! You can also grab pan dulce and other Mexican sweet treats. It’s the perfect place to get Mexican food when you need a quick and inexpensive meal.
Cactus Grill
Conveniently located in Downtown Loveland on 4th Street, Cactus Grille is famous for its happy hour (can you say “marg flights”?), their loaded nachos, and sizzling fajitas. If you’re looking for something more authentic, their ceviche is served fresh and delicious! They also have different specials throughout the week like “Taco Tuesday”—of course—and “Wicked Wednesday” with their famous Wicked Margarita for only $6 each.
This certainly isn’t an exhaustive list of Mexican food in Loveland, but these restaurants are at the top of our list! Let us know if we missed any of your favorites!
