Best Halloween Activities in Loveland & NoCo

Best of NoCo

What a fun time of year! The community comes together to provide children (and adults!) with so many entertaining Halloween activities. There are so many out there, so I’ll keep it brief and try to highlight some of my favorite Halloween activities in Loveland!

Downtown Pumpkin Festival | October 23

The 2nd Annual Downtown Pumpkin Festival takes place in the Foundry. It’s a free event, with the option to purchase a pumpkin and decorate it with supplies from a variety of artists. There’s also food, pumpkin sculptures, and farmer’s market booths. Tickets are only available online so make sure to purchase them ahead of time.

Loveland Zombie Crawl | October 23

Not for the faint of heart, the Loveland Zombie Crawl is for adults, starting at Loveland Aleworks at 4 pm. Expect beer, food trucks, live music, and face painting. Then after a group photo is taken around dusk, zombies can meander from place to place getting discounted drinks and specials at participating restaurants and bars in Downtown Loveland. Learn more here.

NoCo’s Greatest Trick or Treat Experience | October 30

This drive-through trick or treat experience at the Thompson School District Admin Building costs $5 per car and provides a socially distanced way to get candy and treats. They’re calling it a “parade in reverse” where families drive past various Halloween scenes and collect goodies. This event is a fundraiser for the Thompson Education Foundation.

HalloweenFest 2021 | October 30

May the best costume win at this convergence of margaritas, tacos, music, and the Halloween spirit at Margarita Alley aka Cactus Grill and Wicked Tequila Room. All ages are welcome at Cactus Grill, and the party is for 21+ at Wicked Tequila Room.

There are many more great activities for both children and adults, but these are some of the best Halloween activities in Loveland. Let me know in the comments if I’m missing any of your favorites!

And, check out my last blog on the best pumpkin patches in Loveland and NoCo for more Halloween fun.
