It’s time to grab your crew and head on over to one of the best pumpkin patches in Loveland + NoCo to get pumpkins for carving, decorating, and participate in all the wonders of fall! Pumpkin patches can mean different things to different people. Some families just want a relaxed place for their littles to wander through a field of pumpkins and maybe see an animal or two. Others are looking for the full fall experience—from hayrides to haunted corn mazes. So I’ll share a few of both, and you can pick your poison and let me know what you think!
Little One-Friendly/Low Key Pumpkin Patches
Osborn Farm—Loveland
Osborn Farm is a local favorite and is the perfect pumpkin patch if you’re looking for something low-key. The property is beautiful, providing plenty of opportunities to pose your family in front of a red barn! The pumpkin and gourd selection is excellent, and you can grab a pumpkin right off the porch or wander through the field to track down the perfect prize.
Spooky’s Pumpkin Patch—Fort Collins
Spooky’s Pumpkin Patch is great if you’re looking for a no-nonsense pumpkin experience. They have a wide variety of sizes and pricing, so everyone can find something for their budget. And their main feature is that their pumpkins are the “think-skinned” pumpkins with a much better shelf life than the store-bought variety.
Full Experience Pumpkin Patches
The Bartels Farm—Fort Collins
The Bartels Farm is a perfect mix of all the activities and family-friendly. They’re one of the favorite spots to get some adorable fall pictures of the family, but they also have lots to do, like visit the petting zoo, hayrides, and a corn maze. Bartels also has a hay bale maze for little ones. Some of the activities are free, and some have a low cost.
Fritzler Farm Park—LaSalle
If you don’t mind going for a bit of a drive (about 40 minutes from Downtown Loveland), Fritzler Farm might be the most legendary pumpkin patch in the region. Aside from pumpkins, they host one of the largest corn mazes in Northern Colorado, which of course, turns into a haunted maze at night. If you’re looking for maximum activities (or the scary factor) in your pumpkin patch, this is the place.
Hopefully, you have an idea now of where you’d like to go for some fall fun! If you want even more ideas, I share a few other favorite fall destinations in a past blog.
