Meet with a Realtor®
This is your risk-free opportunity to ask questions and understand the process. When we meet together, I will walk you through the entire process of selling from beginning to end. We’ll discuss market conditions, and I’ll outline what to expect when you sell your home. Once you decide on a Realtor® to work with (I hope it’s me!) the process begins.
Prepare your Home
Ensuring you get top dollar for your home is one of my top priorities. As your Realtor®, I will offer helpful suggestions and work hard to make sure your home stands out from the competition. In this phase, there may be a few things you’ll need to do to prepare your home. Sprucing up curb appeal, or touching up paint can often help get your home ready for the market.
Establish a Price
Once you’ve made suggested updates, it’s time to establish a price for your home. I will do a deep dive into the market to create a comparative market analysis. This will show us what similar homes have sold for in your neighborhood. After we look through this report together, you will be able to establish a price based on market statistics.

Staging and Photography
Before you sell your home, I will provide a complimentary consultation and re-style with a stager. The stager will spend a couple of hours re-arranging your house to make it look appealing to buyers. Once your house has been staged, I’ll arrange for a professional real estate photographer to come take photos.
List Your Home for Sale
After all your hard work, it’s time to put your home on the market. I’ll make your home active in the local MLS so that other agents and potential buyers will be able to see the home immediately. Your listing will also be sent to other popular home search websites, and I will advertise your home in several different ways.
Offers and Negotiation
Once we receive an offer on your home, we’ll review the offer together. You have the chance to accept, counter, or reject the offer depending on the price and terms. When you accept an offer, you will officially be under contract! The buyer will most likely schedule and inspection. If they are purchasing your home with a mortgage, they will also need to get an appraisal.
Congratulations! You made it to the closing table! Documents will be signed transferring ownership and funds will be exchanged. Unless otherwise agreed upon, you will have moved out of the house at this point.
